The mission of all our ministries is to fulfill the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment.
Essentially, we want to get the Word out and help make & mobilize disciples of Jesus Christ…a calling that encompasses our heart for local outreach and global missions as well.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)
And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the great and foremost commandment. (Matthew 22:37-38)
Our primary means of going out into all the world is through Harvest Bible Fellowship, the church planting ministry of Harvest Bible Chapel, which allows us to support and take part in the work that God is doing around the world. The planting of nearly 40 new Harvests in North America and around the globe in just 8 years is connecting people to the gospel and changing lives for eternity. Through the Fellowship and sister churches, we’ll have multi-tiered opportunities to send laborers out from among us on short-term missions to aid and encourage international Harvest plants.
We also support Churches Helping Churches. This organization addresses the immediate and long-term needs of churches when disaster befalls a country, region, city, or people in the spirit of Galatians 6:10—“…let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
In Matthew 9:37, Jesus said, “the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.”
That translates into local action, too—putting our hands and feet to work for Christ in our corner of the world.
Let’s be ready to respond! Be in prayer and alert for the call to connect with our community as the Lord would lead in the months to come.
