WHAT WE’RE ABOUT Word & Worship At Harvest Bible Chapel, we’re committed to discipleship—to knowing and growing in real relationship with Christ. Helping students own and strengthen their walks with the Lord is what we’re after. So every Sunday night, we’re offering Christ our worship, learning straight from Scripture, sharing what it means in small groups, and supporting each other in prayer. We also have gathering times that are specifically focused on worship and teaching.
Walk Just as fellowship is vital to every believer, it is a significant part of our Student Ministries. Hang-out time is factored into the beginning and end of every ministry night, along with a weekly game-time or “ice breaker” to warm things up. Special evenings and events geared towards fun and fellowship are also part of our ministry calendar.
Work Working for Christ is one of our core values at Harvest. God’s Word is clear that we’ve been saved to serve, with everyone who calls Harvest their home involved in ministry, including our students. We’ll be providing weekly ways they can help out during Sunday services, along with opportunities for our Student Ministry to serve the church as a whole such as “work days,” helping with VBS and Children’s Ministry, etc.
Witness As they grow in their walks, students will be challenged and encouraged to share their faith—and hopefully share in the privilege of seeing others come to saving faith in Jesus Christ. With God’s help, we’re equipping students through teaching times geared toward sharing their faith in practical, conversational ways. And they’re learning the power of personal testimonies, hearing first-hand accounts of God’s amazing grace in the lives of others, and framing their own stories of His work in theirs.
